Vintage costume hat made from vintage ruby red satin and cream soutache lace ~ wide brim turns up on one side and decorated with 3 satin flowers, two of them are edged out in gold tube beads ~ crown is a flat top style and ruby red satin while the base of the crown is covered in the lace ~ this is a soft style hat and can be worn in several different ways, from the flowers at the front, at the back or off to the sides ~ inside ribbon sweat band- size: 22" inside circumference
- crown: 2 3/4" tall x 6 1/4" across the top
- brim: 4 1/4 tapering to 3 1/4"
- condition: very good ~ some missing tube beads ~ at some time some one glued the flowers to help them keep shape, I reworked this as much as possible sewing these areas closed, some are still there ~ you would have to look hard and close to see these areas and for the collector or actor from afar it will be difficult to see
