Sweet homemade Victorian bonnet *1850s to 1860s* ~ black velvet over soft straw ~ jet beaded stand up brim ~ 1.5" wide black velvet ribbon with a large cut steel buckle running thru it *located where the crown meets the brim* ~ two black bows at each side of the hat where the ribbon ends ~ grogram ribbon ties- measured inside 18" from side to side
- brim stands up 1.5"
- ties are 21" & 16" long *cut this way to help make a bow at the neck*
- condition: some of beads appear to be missing ~ this is a homemade hat ~ bought out of an estate in Kansas in a trunk with very old homespun clothes
